Some people believe that successful persons are made, not born. Yes, it is true that some people are born with natural talents, but there can be no true success without practice, without experience, and without - motivation. We all dream big dreams and have great ambitions. However, for many people dreams remain just that - dreams. They get caught up in the monotony of living from day-to-day, just barely existing, thinking about what ifs. For some people 1 knock back is enough to get de-motivated while for others, 10 knock back just fuels the motivation. There are many ways to get motivated and there are many ways to be demotivated, it all depends on what you are prepared to let your mind be exposed to.


Simple ideas for getting motivated

Some people believe that successful persons are made, not born. We all dream big dreams and have great ambitions. However, for many people dreams remain just that - dreams. They get caught up in the monotony of living from day-to-day, just barely existing, thinking about what ifs. For some people 1 knock back is enough to get de-motivated while for others, 10 knock back just fuels the motivation. There are many ways to get motivated and there are many ways to be demotivated, it all depends on what you are prepared to let your mind be exposed to.

There are countless negativities in our lives, so how do we keep motivated? For some people, pain or humiliation are the reason to change, fight and improve themselves. For others, it is some bitter experience, or a great movie, or an inspiring book. Here are some basic tips, however very important for anyone who needs motivation:

- Limit the amount of contact with negative people and places too much contact can weigh you down. Just ignore those people who want to destroy you. Don't let bad people get the best of you. Stay away from those who hate to hear about your success or who constantly bitch about other people, chances are they will bitch about you.

- Hang on to your dreams. Let your dreams be your driving force. Visualize yourself in success.

- Be positive. Positive thoughts are invigorating. People around someone carrying positive thoughts are always energized by this type of attitude. A positive attitude attracts people, while a negative attitude repels them.

- Be yourself, find yourself, do not be afraid to explore yourself and love thyself. That is the key to success. You are unique. No one in the world acts, looks and talks like you. Value your life as you are just going to spend it once.

- Write down your "to-do-lists". If you want to achieve your intended goals do not rely just on your "mental" lists. mental lists are easily lost and influenced, when written down you can laser focus on each task.

- Read inspirational and self-development books and e-books and apply what you learn. Just reading positive books will not help, you must apply them as part of your existing personaltiy, do not exaggerate being motivated so much so you seem like you have just taken an E-tablet, be natural

- Listen to motivating music. Create a playlist to listen to when you are depressed. Motivating music are music that uplift you when played, it makes you want to start cleaning the house from top 2 bottom, it makes you want to get up and do something, stay away from audio that makes you depressed.

- Place motivating posters, photos, signs and quotations in your house and your office.

Over time you become naturally motivated or the very least you will learn how to tap into your mind, to snap in to 'get things done' mode. We all get down every now and then, what shapes you is how long you stay down for. The quicker you get out of the down mood the better. Start practicing and keep practicing.
